A Leader in Robotics
2007
WPI becomes the first in the nation to offer a BS in robotics. It is one of the only universities to offer a BS, MS, and PhD in robotics engineering, and the only one with a five-year combined BS/MS. Ongoing research keeps WPI at the forefront of robotics engineering advances, including human-robot interaction, artificial intelligence, and medical robotics.
